An event that influenced me is when music came into my life. The main reason it influences me is the story thats coming from behind it and how it can change your whole prospective. Like some music helps me realise that i need to stop listening to what people say and start listening to myself. One specific rapper that got me influenced is 50-Cent because his music is always saying to me that he doesnt care what you think of him he's just going to keep climbing to the top while you still trying to bring him down. I remember a time before i started listening to 50 were kids would try to bring me down and i took every thing they threw at me. I was listening to what they had to say and i bought into it to a point were i was in a depressing state but now it's like they can keep talking because i know i'm going to make it to the top.

Assignment 2

Respond to the following question. Your answer should be at least one full, well-written paragraph. Explain your answers. Why do you think what you think?1. In the selection called "Peer Pressure" George states that "friends have more influence on one another's lives than almost anyone else does, especially in those teenage years when kids are trying to discover who they really are. So hooking up with the wrong crowd can really get you down."Do you agree with his comments? Why or why not? Have you seen other people try to pressure their friends to do things? (Good or bad) Have you felt pressure to behave in certain ways because of your friends? WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED: Visit the blogs of your group members, read their comments, and leave one comment in which you agree or disagree with something they say (and explain why) or ask them a question about their response.

1. I think that friends can influence you if you are a person that already feel you don't belong. like if you feel like you need to change you're self or feel that you need to impress people to get there attention then you would tend to be some one you're not.
